Part 1: History, Heritage and Old Vines
Mark Davidson, Wine Australia’s Head of Education Development, looks at the history of Shiraz in Australia and some of the classic regions known for Shiraz. He talks to Ben Glaetzer, Winemaker at Glaetzer Wines, about what makes the Barossa such a special region for Shiraz, the importance of old vines and the shift in style to a greater focus on freshness and purity of expression.
